Privacy
We collect as little about you as we can. There is no sign-up and no analytics. Two parts of this site can reach outside it — the contact form and the map — and this page explains what each one does.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own. The map on the contact section is not loaded until you ask for it: only if you press "Show the map" does Google's map load, and Google then sets its own cookies. If you never press it, no cookies are set at all — which is why there is no cookie banner to click.
What is loaded from elsewhere
Every image, font and stylesheet comes from this site. The one exception is the map, and only once you have asked for it — Google then sees that your browser requested it.
The Facebook and Instagram links are ordinary links — those sites only hear from you if you click one. Where recent Facebook posts are shown, they and their photos are fetched by this site’s server, not your browser.
The contact form
If you use the form, we receive the information you type. The form uses Resend, an email delivery service, which sends it to our inbox as an ordinary email. Resend and this site keeps no copy. We use the information so that we can reply, assuming that's what you want us to do. Ww do not add you to a list or share the information with anyone outside our organisation.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Vercel, which keeps the standard server logs any web host keeps, including IP addresses, in order to serve the pages and guard against abuse. Those are Vercel's records rather than ours, and we don't build anything on top of them.
If you email us
The address on this site is forwarded by Cloudflare, which runs our domain, to an ordinary mailbox, without keeping a copy. If you write to us we will have your message and your email address, the same as any email, and we won’t add you to a list.
Questions
If you would like anything here explained, or anything you have sent us removed, email hello@salthousechurch.org.uk and we will sort it out.
